Protein Rich Tofu & Skyr Dip

I am always in constant search for low fat and tasty dips. So last Friday, for family tv time munch, I began experimenting and ended up in the preparation of a healthy Tofu & Skyr dip. Honestly, my family absolutely loved this dip.

Pumpkin Soup

Importance of pumpkin is huge when it comes to fall, not just because we harvest a lot of pumpkins during the fall months but also because of the significant role it has to play on occasions like Halloween and thanksgiving. There are plenty of ways to cook the pumpkin after Halloween, but this nutritious and comfortingly delicious soup is my family’s favourite.

Grilled Asparagus with Toasted Walnuts

Although the british growing season is over, we can still buy asparagus from supermarkets. This delicate green vegetable is very low in caloires and is packed with vitamin A, C & E, folic acid, potassium and iron. Walnuts are high in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant and it is in a highly beneficial form. They contain high amount of plant based omega-3 fatty acids, protein, magnesium, phosphorus and fibre. 

Pineapple and cranberry salsa with tarragon

Immune boosting, low calorie food packed with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine and digestion aiding compounds.This recipe is ideal for Hay fever management. If cranberries are not in season, use 1/4 cup dried cranberries as they are high in sugar. 

Salad is very vibrant and fresh tasting and it will make you feel good and better.
